W19: Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving

Thursdays February 7 - 28 [4 WEEKS]: 1 - 4 PM [Linda Flotow]
Learn the basics of weaving in this beginning rigid heddle weaving class. You’ll set up a rigid heddle loom and weave a scarf using a solid and variegated yarn (provided by the instructor). For a second project, you’ll choose the yarns to weave a traditional scarf or an infinity scarf in a simple pattern. Types of yarns, color selection and finishing techniques will be discussed in class.
Supplies: $6 paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
