Torch Work
Wednesdays, August 6 - September 10, 1 - 4 PM (6 Weeks) [Jason LaBonte]
Torchwork is a type of glasswork where a torch, or lamp, is primarily used to melt borro silcia glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements. Students will make a series miniature glass works starting with clear glass. You will possibly move into hollow forms and the use of color depending on your skill development.
Class Capacity is 6. Ages 16+
