S19: Clay Sculpture

Wednesdays April 3 - May 22 [8 WEEKS]: 2- 5PM [Allan Masterson]
This class is designed for people of all experience levels. Students will learn how to use clay as a sculptural medium and different finishing techniques using mixed media. We will focus on using hand techniques like slab-building, coil-building, and pinch-building to create 3D sculptures, and how to use an array of hot/cold finishing techniques. The class will explore both figurative and abstract art, and is structured very openly. Students are encouraged to come with ideas!
