Portrait Gallery
Tuesdays, Mar 26 - May 14. (8 WEEKS), 9:30AM - 12PM [Marianne Stremsterfer]
In this class students will be looking at a variety of portraits in the National Portrait Gallery (Smithsonian, Washington D.C.) as inspiration for painting their own portraits. Many styles and compositions will be explored and students will be creating 2-4 portraits during class. Instruction will cover realistic, abstract, and collage portraiture. SUPPLY LIST: Acrylic paint and brushes if not using SAA - 2-4 canvasses or substrate (ec. Wood panel -materials of choice for collage if desired.
