Intro to Wheel Throwing
Tuesdays. March 31 - May 19 [8 WEEKS]: 1 - 4PM [Allan Masterson]
This class is designed for people with little or no experience with clay. Students will start with learning the basics of wheel throwing as a way to create functional pottery. We will also cover the basics of glazing and various firing processes. The classes are very flexible, and adjustments can be made for each individual student. Feel free to come with ideas, or just enthusiasm for experimenting with clay!
SUPPLIES: 8 Piece Pottery Tool Kit can be purchased from our shop online, $10. The kits will be waiting for you on your first day of class. Also needed are a 1 gallon container to hold supplies/and be a water bucket, an old towel, and a full-front apron.
