Intermediate Pastels

Wednesdays October 2nd - November 20: 1 - 4PM  [Open Studio - No Instructor]. 
Come to continue your education for exciting soft pastels and under-paintings. Students will work on their own projects each getting individual critiques two to four time a class depending on class size. Bring reference materials and supplies to begin working immediately. We will concentrate on making paintings that are mesmerizing no matter the subject. It might be because of the; interesting strokes, beautiful color combinations, rhythms, mood or ? We will not be reproducing photographs or other artists work. We will experiment. This session I will be asking guiding questions regarding your work so you can tell me what to do next to make the painting more interesting or exciting. It will be an experiment for me too. Demonstrations on student work will be done, with permission, to make a point. Supplies:
