Intermediate Metals
Mondays April 5 - May 24 [8 WEEKS]: 1 - 4 PM [Meghan Tippy Reese]
We will be making chains, focusing on mechanics and repetitive designs. We will use hand tools, saws, torches and precision tools for jewelry making to design and fabricate their own clasps for use in a handmade necklace or bracelet. Students should have prior jewelry instruction and must be able to solder, use hand tools, and studio equipment. Students should bring mechanical pencils, fine point sharpies, and hand tools if they have them.
