William Morris was a revolutionary designer, craftsman, writer, social activist, and conservationist, who introduced a new and instantly recognizable visual aesthetic into British interiors. Students will be inspired by William Morris’s nature themed wallpaper designs (Flowers, Mushrooms, Butterfly’s, etc.), while studying and learning how to create a strong composition and color palette. Students will complete two paintings, if not more given the time allotted.
Ages 16+
SUPPLIES: Please bring a (1) 8"x10" or bigger canvas. SAA has acrylic paints and brushes available for student use.
