8 WEEK CLASS. 3 Hours. Thursdays 1 - 4PM Sept 26 - Nov 14 [Mario Clarke]
This is a beginning course in glassblowing that will teach you the fundamentals of the studio: tools and equipment usage, glassblowing techniques that will lead to finished products in the the cold shop.You will learn basic forms, in a hybrid of Italian/ American style of hot glass. You will create a straight walled cube, a straight walled cup, bowl, an avoglio vase, and more! This class is a prerequisite to intermediate to advanced classes. Max Students is 6.
