Fall20: Beg/Int Oil Painting

In this class, students will learn or refresh on the fundamentals of oil painting by exploring the basic techniques and concepts of painting such as composition, color theory, color mixing, brushwork, blending, and glazes. Students will explore and learn other genre of paintings such as still life, portraiture, and landscapes. Students will be encouraged to develop their own personal style. This class is great for beginners and experienced painters who want to expand their skills. Supplies: We will discuss the materials on the first day! SAA has oil paint accessible for students to use.
