Drawing Human Portraits: Expressions and Perspectives

Mondays, Jan 8 - Feb 26.  (8 WEEKS), 10 - 12 PM [Ashlynn Frey]
During this course, students will learn the fundamental skills in drawing the human face, along with how to shade, controlling tones, compositions, and other drawing methods.  Students will focus and draw one facial feature at a time, along with how to convey a variety of different facial expressions. Towards the end of the eight weeks, students will complete a full portraiture drawing.  Please bring a sketchbook of any size 9" x 12" or bigger. Pencil sets 6B to 6H, kneaded, white erasers, and a small cotton cloth. Ages 16+
