Calligraphy for Beginners

May 9 & 16, 10AM-1PM. This is a 2-day SAAmpler; the second day will likely be shorter.

$60 per person ($10 discount for SAA members)

This SAAmpler is based on exploration of calligraphy (the art of beautiful handwriting), often used during the 19th century. Registrants will learn how to write using the Chancery Cursive “hand.” This SAAmpler takes place on the first floor of Edwards Place, which is accessible.

Ages 14 to adult.

Workshop fees go toward preserving and interpreting historic Edwards Place.
