A Stitch in Time (Beginner Embroidery), 6th - 8th Grade

This is a History Camp.
his camp teaches the basics of embroidery - how to thread a needle, use an embroidery hoop, and three new stitches (cross-stitch, back stitch, and straight stitch). The Edwards family would have known how to embroider, as it was a popular past time for women in the 19th century. Campers will complete a project to take home at the end of the week.
