Ever thought about adding cloth, or stitching, or lace to a painting? How about borrowing patchwork techniques or adding a zipper? Instructor Cyd LaBonte helps you to think beyond the traditional by looking to the sewing arts for inspiration. No prior sewing experience needed. We will be working on paper with all supplies provided, but optionally, you may wish to bring: your own acrylic paint, mediums, and brushes, a small stretched canvas or other support, small pieces of cloth, trim, threads etc., and/or your own artwork you want to alter.
