Oil Painting: The History of the Ism Landscapes

During this course, students will learn the fundamental skills in creating landscape paintings, while learning the history and the style of Fauvism, Impressionism, and Realism.  Students will also learn and understand the basic techniques and concepts of painting such as composition, perspective, color mixing, and  how to put all those elements together in order to create a dimensional work of art. We will discuss materials, but please bring two canvases to class for the first day. Supply List : Check out Michaels, Dick Blick’s, or Jerry’s Artarama for reasonable prices.
