Intro to Torch Work

Mondays. Apr 1 - May 20 (8 WEEKS): 1- 4PM [Jason LaBonte]
Torchwork is a type of glasswork where a torch, or lamp, is primarily used to melt the borro silcia glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements. Students will make a series miniature glass works. You will possibly move into hollow forms depending on your skill development. Ages 16+ Max Students is 4.
